Good Old Mantra is an Indian restaurant and cocktail bar in Carnegie, serving traditional Indian food alongside a cocktail list built specifically to pair with it.

The kitchen does the classics properly: tandoori, slow-cooked curry pots, biryani, dosa, chaat and Mumbai street food, plus Indo-Chinese. Vegetarian options run right through the menu.

The bar is the difference. Each cocktail is developed in house around Indian spice, so the drink and the plate work together instead of competing. We also serve beer on tap, assorted wines and spirits.

Good Old Mantra is women-owned and women-led across ownership, kitchen and floor. Open for dinner from 5:30pm at Shop 3, 23 Koornang Road, Carnegie.
