Europa Café & Cakes in Carnegie is a family-run bakery and café that has been operating since 2012. It was founded by Ryszard Janczewski, formerly of Europa Cakeshop in St Kilda, who brings over 15 years of baking expertise to this venture.

The shop specialises in Polish and European cakes, desserts, breads and bagels, using high-quality, preservative-free ingredients.

In addition to their signature sweets, Europa offers authentic Polish cuisine and a popular “Krakow-style” cheesecake (Sernik Krakowski), which was featured on SBS’s Food Safari.

Europa operates seven days a week and is fully licensed.

They cater to a variety of tastes by providing vegetarian and gluten-free options, and accept special orders for cakes and meals. Their venue is also available to hire for functions, with attentive service tailored to your event.
